      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"&gt;As long as your Form 1099-R shows a distribution code 'G' in box 7, then you should not need to file an amended tax return.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;"&gt;Reporting the transfer of funds from one 401k to another would not change your previously filed tax return. &amp;nbsp;As long as no portion of the money was actually distributed to you, you should just keep the Form 1099-R with your records in the event that the IRS has any questions. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
