Yes, it will count as repayment of prior year benefits if you have to repay the unemployment benefits from the prior year due to the accidental deposit. Please follow the steps below to enter the repayment of benefits.

1. If you repaid unemployment benefits in 2022, select "Yes" to "Did you pay back any of your 2021 unemployment benefits?" on the "Did you pay back any of your 2021 unemployment benefits?" screen, then press "Continue" and enter the amount of benefits repaid
2. Advance through the remaining screens by pressing "Continue" until you reach the "Other Common Unemployment Benefits" screen
3. On the "Other Uncommon Unemployment Benefits" screen, select “Yes” to enter your 2016 and earlier benefits repaid on the following screens as needed
4. Press the “Continue” button after you enter your information on each screen until you finish recording your unemployment benefit repayments
