topic RMD for full time worker aged 75 in Retirement tax questions

My wife is now 75 years old and still working full time. She is getting checks for 2 sources that both provide Form 1099-R. The question being is she required to take the RMD and if so doesn't the plan administrator automatically determine the RMD and is that included in the checks deposited every month ? I assume that I will need to contact the plan administrator to determine how much is RMD. THANKS

Yes, I would assume that the RMD is included in the monthly checks she is receiving. The only way to be sure is to check with the plan administrator that the monthly check includes the RMD.

don't assume anything.

you can set up any amount of monthly distribution from your IRA or 401k.

It is your job to make sure no less than the RMD on a 401k comes out.
