      <description>&lt;P&gt;No. If the Social Security number in box 2 of the SSA-1099 is your daughter's Social Security number, then it goes on her tax return, if she files one. But if the Social Security is her only income she is not required to file a tax return. In that case, you just don't report it anywhere. You do not include your daughter's Social Security payment on your tax return.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, you do not report these taxes on your&amp;nbsp;return.&amp;nbsp; Since your child is the person with the legal right to receive these Social Security Benefits, they're only taxable to her.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;These benefits are reported on her return if she files a return.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
