when you enter the information for your 1099-r you need to enter yours with the paid by institute and amount click on add another 1099-r and then add your wife's information.. on the page that says your 1099-r entries you should see one entry for what you take out and one for your wife.

From our awesome Tax Champ @DoninGA, if your amounts are exactly the same for each of you change the amount by $.01 on one of them and this may allow you to move forward without error.
