I changed my IRA withheld amount after i filed my tax return--i created an amended return 1040-X to reflect the change but I saw no indication of my IRA contribution anywhere on any of the forms. Where should it display and can i still file the amended return without showing the IRA contribution?

IRA Withheld? What was it withheld from? Did you make a contribution to a IRA at a bank? Or did it come out of your paychecks? If it is on your W2 that is probably for a 401K not a IRA. And you only enter it from the W2, nowhere else and it won't affect your return.

it is not on any w2, this is a new 1 time contribution that I was prompted to make as part of the turboxtax prompts
