topic 1099R in Retirement tax questions

Turbo tax is asking about amounts in box 16 and box14. my 1099r only goes to box13.

turbo tax box 14 is my 1099r box 12

turbo tax box 16 is the amount in my 1099r box 2a

what do I do now?

TurboTax follows the layout of the actual IRS forms - for whatever reason, some issuers of IRS forms take it upon themselves to alter the forms.

Follow the descriptions. Box 14 is for state withholding on the distribution and box 16 is for the state distribution (what will be taxed in your state).
