 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:14px"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;Enter basis in the Traditional IRA: $6,000&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:14px"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;On the “&lt;STRONG&gt;Choose Not to Deduct IRA Contributions&lt;/STRONG&gt;” screen choose “&lt;STRONG&gt;Yes, make part of my IRA contribution nondeductible&lt;/STRONG&gt;” and enter the amount: $6,000.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

Quick check, for #6, should I say the $6K or the $12K? Assuming $6K since that's the only one designated for 2020 even though I technically put in $12K during the calendar year 2020. So then for Form 8606, Boxes 1 &amp;amp; 2 are 6K, Boxes 3 &amp;amp; 5 &amp;amp; 13 &amp;amp; 16 &amp;amp; 17 are all 12K?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
