      <description>&lt;P&gt;If that's all you have you can enter the Form SSA-1099 to see if any of it is taxable.&amp;nbsp; It depends on filing status and whether you have any other income.&amp;nbsp; In most cases the social security is not taxable.&amp;nbsp; It does not count as earned income for any of the credits such as earned income credit.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
