We have both been receiving regular montly payments from our qualified pension plans since 1996. Not sure what to do with the RMD question that asked this year.

TurboTax only asks this question to determine whether or not any part of the distributions reported on the Form 1099-R are eligible for rollover. Since your pension distributions are not eligible for rollover (and presumably you therefore did not roll over any of these distributions), it doesn't matter how you answer this RMD question. Simply say it was all RMD.

Thank you for the quick reponse to my question. It cleared up my confusen for the RMD question on this years question.
