      <description>&lt;P&gt;he doesn't provide half of his own support because Social security doesn't count.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As long as he is &lt;EM&gt;under&lt;/EM&gt; 24 and a student at the end of the tax year, he is your qualifying child.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
