1099-R Reporting

The 1099-R downloaded in my spouse's name. I went to "forms" and changed it to my name and my social security number showed up on the form. But when I went back to "step-by-step" the information was still in my spouse's name and SSN. How do I change this?

Delete the form and type it in by hand.

To Delete a Form

Open your return in TurboTax.

In the left side bar, select Tax Tools> Tools.

In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.

Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet and follow the onscreen instructions

Edit the Form 1099-R in step-by-step mode and on the next page indicate the individual to whom the Form 1099-R belongs.
