They don't need the schedule. They need the totals.

If you save your 2020 return in PDF and elect to save "EVERYTHING", in the PDF document you'll find three pages that are needed. They are the only ones you need to print.

IRS Form 4562 - This one prints in landscape format and is titled "Depreciation and Amortization Report"

IRS Form 4562 - This one also prints in landscape and is titled "Alternative Minimum Tax Depreciation"

IRS Form 8582 - Prints in portrait format and is titled Passive Activity Loss Limitations.

Print and provide all three of those to your tax preparer, and they have all they need for the rental property.

If you filed with TurboTax last year you can print your copy of the return and worksheets. Be sure to check Worksheets because that is where the Form 4562 Depreciation Schedule will be located.

Here is how to print 2020 tax return:

In the left menu, select Tax Tools

Then Print Center.

On the TurboTax Print Center screen, select Print, save or preview this year's return.

On the next TurboTax Print Center screen, select 2020 federal returns and Include Government and TurboTax Worksheets (optional),

Then select View or Print Forms
