&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Go to Federal Taxes -&amp;gt; Wages &amp;amp; Income -&amp;gt; IRA, 401(k)&lt;/STRONG&gt;, Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R). As you work through the interview, you will eventually come to the point to enter the 1099-R. Select Yes, you have this type of income. Import the 1099-R if you'd like.&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;If&amp;nbsp; the above did not work you may have to manually enter the information.&amp;nbsp; Continue on the steps above to manually enter the information,&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Did&amp;nbsp;you get a 1099-R for a Roth distribution?&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;Retirement accounts, including Traditional, Roth and SEP IRAs, will receive a Form 1099-R&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;only if a distribution (withdrawal) was made during the year&lt;/STRONG&gt;. If you made contributions (deposits) to your IRA account for the tax year, you will receive a Form 5498 detailing those contributions&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
