Unable to E-file my NJ tax return because of NJ-DOP schedule? Last year it didn't even generate a DOP-I only bought and sold some stock (net loss), same as last year.

I am a retail investor, buy and sell short term. I've done this the past few years and TT never generated a NJ-DOP schedule. This year not only did it generate a DOP, it's telling me it needs to be updated. When I accept the form it brings me to a screen that says: Returns with Pass-Through Business Alternative Income Tax Credit are not eligible for electronic filing.
Anyone else encounter this? Do I really need to mail everything in now? I am not associated with any type of business whatsoever. I'm not sure where it came to that conclusion.

This is a known issue caused by an update to the New Jersey forms that were just released. It is being worked on and you should keep checking back to see if it is fixed.

Thank you. The Pass Through Business tax glitch has disappeared but I still cannot e-file as I continue to get the error that my NJ DOP needs to be updated. I have logged off and on several times this morning with no changes/updates.

cristen697 - NJ DOP is also currently being updated and will be available soon. Latest info is that it is currently being updated in TurboTax and some people have been able to file today. Please check back to se if your e-file will process.
