it won't let me enter the full 9 digits of the property management company's TIN on my 1099-misc?

It'll let me enter 8 digits, but it won't let me enter the last number. I am filing my 2020 tax return as apparently I somehow managed to fill out a 2020 tax return wildly incorrectly and then not file it.

To resolve your issue, try one of the following two options:

When entering the TIN number, only enter the 9 digits, no hyphen, no spaces.
If this does not help, please delete the 1099-Misc in question, and re-enter it. If you imported the form, type it manually instead.

You mentioned that you were working on your 2020 taxes, you will need to download 2020 TurboTax Desktop version.

I did download the 2020 version, and I didn't automatically import the 1099misc, I'm trying to type it in.

Maybe you have an invisible character in one of the spots? You could try selecting the entire field then using the cut command, or backspacing and forward deleting to try and remove any hidden characters.
