Been using TT for over 15 years.
Been filing both OR & CA for 9 years.

I am using Windows 10, desktop Premier.

This is the first time I have seen this.

I completed Fed, OR, CA taxes.

Did the Federal check, no errors.

Did OR check, no errors.

Did CA check and it generated one error. It pops up a blank K-1, without the name or tax id.

went to “forms”, verified the correct K-1s were there and had proper info.
Deleted erroneous K-1.

Ran error check again and it generated the spurious K-1 form again.
It is hung up in this loop.
I am at a loss of what to do next.

Thanks, Fred

Not solved, but use this work around.

It is a bug in the software.

It generates the spurious K-1, you fill in the partnership name, hit continue.

Look at "forms" you will see it included, almost totally blank with no useful information.

It makes the software happy and it will pass the CA state check and let you file.
