Are you trying to use the Online version? Sorry but Online is ONLY for 2020 now.

Sorry 2019 is closed for online and Efiling. 2019 is now the prior year. And you are too late to use the free service.

You now have to print and mail prior year returns. Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

Online is only good for 2020 now. If you tried to use the Online version for 2019 and entered 2019 info into the 2020 Online version you should try to clear it out so you can use it for 2020

FYI - Then when you file 2020 next year you will need to enter 0 zero for the 2019 AGI since you are filing 2019 late.
