      <description>&lt;P&gt;You could enter these as their own asset titled improvements and depreciate them over the 27.5 years for a rental property.&amp;nbsp; If the changes were actually repairs and did not extend the useful life of the original building asset, they would be deductible as expenses.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
