      <description>&lt;P&gt;In schedule D you have to enter each&amp;nbsp; transaction that resulted in a short term capital gain or loss (Part I short term)and long term capital gain or loss (Part II long term).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;in this for your have to enter proceeds and cost which you get from the 1099 and net gain/loss which you calculate.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you closed the trade after less than one year, more than one year it is long term.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
