You must &lt;B&gt;buy&lt;/B&gt; the car to qualify for the credit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;While the Chevy Volt qualifies as an electric car for tax credit purposes, it must be purchased. Since you are leasing a vehicle, the credit "stays' with the leasing company.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
