      <description>&lt;P&gt;A "same day" sale should, typically, result in a small loss due to selling commissions and fees.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your per share basis in the stock you sold is the same as the per share "fair market value" used by your employer to calculate the compensation caused by the vesting.&amp;nbsp; So if the compensation related to the vesting of the 640 share was $5,240.00 the per share basis is $8.1875.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tom Young&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
