2025 Turbotax Business won't let me file electronically.

Turbo tax Business 2025 is not letting me file electronically, stating I must change entries for certain properties on the asset worksheets, acquired in prior years, because they do not qualify for special depreciation , when in prior years it did. This seems to be an error on Turbotax's part.

This experience has been reported. We anticipate the more complex depreciation calculations within the software should be updated after February 13, 2026. These updates should include Special Depreciation carried over from prior years. Our tech team is working hard to release the updates before that date.

this as of 4/4/26 still must be a problem. MI not accepting returns for 4891 from turbo tax...will this be fixed or not?

We would like to research this, and it would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2025" file that is experiencing this issue. If you would be willing to send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information, please follow these instructions:

Open your return and go to Online in the top menu, then choose "Send Tax File to Agent." On a Mac computer, choose Share or Help >> Send to Agent.
You will see a message explaining what the diagnostic copy is.  Click okay through this screen and then you will get a Token number.
Reply to this thread with a screenshot of your Token number (this avoids Community filters for numbers with a dash) and tag (@) the Expert requesting the token from you.
Please include any additional States that are part of your return - this is VERY important.

We will attempt to determine the cause of your experience and possibly provide you with a resolution.
