I only rented 11 months in 2024 and when I added that I couldn't continue filing at the end

Deductions or credits for rent paid is likely a feature of a state income tax return. What state or states are you filing? Please advise.

In TurboTax Online, in the Michigan state income tax return, at the screen Rented Homestead Summary, select Add to enter a second rental property.
