      <description>&lt;P&gt;Student loans are not a deduction in the United States. However, the interest paid from student loans is&amp;nbsp;an adjustment (deduction) to income. You will need to have a form 1098-E (sent by the issuers of the loan) to report this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This publication has more information on this on page 31:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
