No, not unless Box 5 is larger than Box 1 and you need to claim additional taxable income.

Even then, the scholarship income can be entered without using Form 1098-T.

Do you need to report scholarship income?

Did you get more in aid than what you paid towards tuition, book and supplies?

To upload a picture of your 1098-T, you will follow these steps:

Sign in to TurboTax
Click Deductions and Credits
Search for 1098-T
Click Start next to 1098-T
Answer general interview questions until you get to the screen, "How would you like to enter your 1098-T?"
Click snap a photo with your phone (see screenshot below0
