topic 1098-T Form in Education

1098-T Form

I am ready to file my taxes. I no longer have a need to use the 1098-T form. How can I delete it. When I go to file it keeps prompting me to complete it.

Go back to every place you listed the student and change the information. In the personal profile section, in the education section, anywhere you entered college information needs to be deleted. You can't delete the form as the program has enough information that it wants to hold it until you delete the information.

Go through the entire education interview until you reach a screen titled "Your Education Expenses Summary". Click delete next to the student's name.
