My taxes last year were taken because if a student loan that is in default will that happen this year since I know that has been frozen or stopped until tomorrow I believe

Unfortunately, if you owe on a student loan debt, your tax refund can be offset to pay it. You can contact the agency with which you have a debt to determine if your debt was submitted for a tax refund offset.

Hi there,

Is there a way to see why my return is still pending ? It normally gets processed right away or has and I filed on Jan 30th and still shows pending

Your return is still pending as the IRS will not begin accepting returns until Feb 12, 2021.
