      <description>&lt;P&gt;Many dental expenses qualify for the&amp;nbsp;medical expense itemized deduction&amp;nbsp;on Schedule A.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here's a link to IRS publication 502, Medical Expenses, where you can look on page 7&amp;nbsp;under the heading &lt;B&gt;"Dental Treatment"&lt;/B&gt; for a list of deductible services (&lt;A href="https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p502.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p502.pdf&lt;/A&gt;).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To enter these expenses in TurboTax, click on the&amp;nbsp;&lt;B&gt;Federal Taxes&lt;/B&gt; tab, then&amp;nbsp;&lt;B&gt;Deductions &amp;amp; Credits&lt;/B&gt;, then scroll down to&amp;nbsp;&lt;B&gt;Medical&lt;/B&gt; and select&amp;nbsp;&lt;B&gt;Medical Expenses&lt;/B&gt;. &amp;nbsp;Then follow the prompts. &amp;nbsp;You'll see an entry box for "Doctors &amp;amp; Dentists" which is where you'll input your amount paid.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
