      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;Yes&lt;/B&gt;, if she is claiming her own dependency exemption. &amp;nbsp;In other words, if &lt;U&gt;you&lt;/U&gt; were claiming her as a dependent, then &lt;U&gt;you&lt;/U&gt; could claim the potential education benefits.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dropping out has no impact.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is a more detailed answer, if interested:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
