    <description>I'm a veteran that just swithed form Montgomery to Post 9/11 to finish my last year.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Block 5 is higher than block 1 and I believe that is why it keeps asking for corrections because last year block 5 was lower than block 1.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If your Box 5 is larger than your Box 1 on your 1098-T, you are not eligible for an Education Credit and in fact, don't need to enter your 1098-T in your return, or any Education Expenses.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Normally, the excess scholarship amount in Box 5 would be t&lt;U&gt;axable income&lt;/U&gt; to you, but since you are on the GI Bill, it is not taxable income.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here's more info:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
