All my tuition and books were covered with scholarships and I received grant money back that was left over. Do I need to wait to receive my 1098T and file it?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 1098T may have more information on it that you need for later questions.&amp;nbsp; As this is your first year, I would wait to be safe.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;See this answer to the same question from Carl (a superuser) that goes into detail about why its best to wait.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
