You can tell the program you would like to switch the type of Education Credits by following the steps below -

Log into your account and select Take Me to My Return (you must click this before proceeding or you will not get the right link during the search)
Click the search box (the magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner)
Search for "letme" (one word)
Click the "jump to letme" section
It will bring you to the screen below "Education Credits and Deductions." Follow the prompts and the next screen will let you switch the selection.

Note: While you may have reasons to switch credits, keep in mind, the AOC is a refundable credit (so it will likely lead to a larger refund) and it is only available for the first four years of postsecondary education.
