TurboTax is asking for an attachment with no information to tell me what the attachment should be.

When I try to file a return, I get the following message:

Attachment Needed -

Since 0 when you e-file your tax return.

It needs to be a PDF file, so select Continue and we'll walk you through the process.

How am I supposed to know what file to attach given the above information? I have tried last year's return and also my RREE statement. Neither seem to allow me move forward with filing.

Is it too much to ask that TurboTax put out products that actually work?

Please clarify your question.

Do you have a tax return that does not have anything on it, resulting in a "0" tax return?
Did you "select Continue so TurboTax could walk you through the process"?
What was the result of the walkthrough?

I am having the same issue is seems to center around the RREE which the system will not recognize when I upload it. This is keeping me from e-filing my return. When will there be an update on this issue?

The QBI RREE safe harbor statement is a signed statement that must be attached to the tax return and mailed in. The statement should read something to the effect of "This rental real estate enterprise meets the safe harbor requirements in rev procedure 2019-38." At this time you can not attach the statement and mail it in.
