      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you are posting all of the individual transactions you should not be entering the total.&amp;nbsp; However, you can post the totals from your summary page, but you would not include the individual transactions.&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;UL&gt; 
 &lt;LI&gt;If you choose to enter a summary instead of entering each sale.&lt;/LI&gt; 
 &lt;LI&gt;You will have to mail a copy of the brokerage statement listing the individual sales.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt; 
 &lt;LI&gt;You have to send the statements, not copies of individual 1099-B forms.&lt;/LI&gt; 
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;You can still E-file&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt; 
 &lt;LI&gt;TurboTax will produce a Form 8453.&lt;/LI&gt; 
 &lt;LI&gt;You will print &lt;STRONG&gt;Form 8453&lt;/STRONG&gt; and attach the brokerage statement(s) to it.&lt;/LI&gt;
