I don't believe I need to file a Schedule 3 form, but TurboTax isn't letting me delete it. Is this just a ploy to force me to upgrade to "Deluxe"?

If you include information that needs to be listed on Schedule 3 then the program will include it. However the standard procedure for removing schedules is listed in the FAQ below:
