      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you are "in the business" of&amp;nbsp; residential rentals as a primary, actively involved source of income, then you could report on Schedule C. However, any reporting on Schedule C will be subject to self-employment tax (FICA).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You should really only report on Schedule C if you&amp;nbsp;provide substantial services that are primarily for your tenant's convenience(cleaning, maid service, etc.). Rentals generally belong on Schedule E.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
