A capital loss is different than an Net Operating Loss (NOL). Which did you have?

If you have a carryover Net Operating Loss, TurboTax does not calculate that or carry it over. You need to manually calculate and manually enter the carryover NOL in the program.

If you determine that you have an NOL carryover to enter in TurboTax, you can type NOL in the search bar and use the Jump to NOL link to enter the amount you calculated.
