Filed 1065 business return using wrong EIN

Hi There,

I just realized I filed my 1065 business return back in March through turbotax business with the wrong EIN. I used an old EIN for a business that is no longer active so now I'm wondering how I go about fixing this?

I recommend the following:

Amend the incorrectly filed 1065 and mark it as final
File a new 1065 with the correct EIN
Include an attachment on the amended return explaining it was erroneously filed
