The stimulus payment is for individuals, not businesses.

See the information at this U.S. Treasury website for information about the relief available for businesses under the recent Paycheck Protection Program.

This IRS website is also a good place to find information on relief available to both individuals and businesses.

The timing of your stimulus payment depends on whether the IRS has the information to make a direct deposit to your bank account, or if you will instead receive a paper check.

Taxpayers receiving a refund by check may have to wait several weeks or months to receive their stimulus payment. Checks won't be mailed until May at the earliest, and will first be mailed to households with the lowest income.

If you qualify for a stimulus check the IRS will either deposit it to your bank account, or, if it does not have your bank account information for a refund you will get a check in the mail. If you filed a tax return and requested the money be deposited to a prepaid debit card, you may receive the refund to that debit card. Use the IRS FAQ website at this link to find out if you are eligible for a stimulus check, and if so how you will receive your payment.

The IRS has promised to open a website in mid-April for people to provide their banking information, if they filed a tax return but did not not provide the banking information for a refund.

If you were not required to file at tax return in 2018 or 2019, to register for a stimulus payment you can use the TurboTax Stimulus Registration product at this link or the IRS website for non-filers to enter their payment info at this link. Note that "not required" to file a tax return is different that "was required to but did not".

It said my check should be mailed on may 04 does that mean in my mailbox on may 04? Or that’s the day they send it?

Can you please call me. I filed my taxes out the 4/24/2020. I will like to know am I going to a stimulus check or do I need to mail the paperwork that we finished.
