Hello. My wife owns a videography business that was situation in state A, and is now in state B about 550 miles away. We no longer own the old home (included a small home office) and have now bought a new home in state B.

We moved to state B for my full time job, but my wife naturally opened her business up here and transferred marketing to state B to generate new leads/business for herself.

What if anything are we allowed to claim from the cost of the movers) (we paid out of pocket for the move/hotels/dog boarding, etc.)

I am hoping we can claim something as the move was delayed due to the prior homeowners causing an issue and we had to pay a considerable large amount of money than originally anticipated to keep the movers in town for a few additional days.

Thanks for all your help!

Prog

Well that stinks. We can at least claim all the renovations to the new office space, etc. Not a ton, but better than nothing.
