I have turbo tax personal and business income but need to fill out a form 1041

Sorry. You have the Home & Business version for personal tax returns that include schedule C for self employment business income.

You need Turbo Tax Business.

The small business program (TT Business) is for 1120 Corporation, 1120S Corp, 1065 Partnership or 1041 Estate/Trust returns and will not do your personal 1040 return. It is a separate program from the Desktop Home & Business program or the Online Self Employed version.

Turbo Tax Business is not available to do online or on a Mac. You can buy the Window's version here. And you can have both TT Business and TT Home & Business (or any personal version) installed on your computer at the same time.

Do you have access to a Windows computer? Maybe you can use a friends or family computer.

You can probably run the Windows Business program on a Mac using a Windows Emulator like Parallels. But you would have to buy a copy of Windows to install in it. Google Windows on Mac to get articles on the various options

TaxAct has the ability to create and file the 1041 for estates either on line or as a download for 2018. Turbotax only had only Turbotax Business for a download to the PC for 2018. I don't know Turbotax's plans for 2019 tax preparation.

Me neither, frankly, but it is likely that the plans will not change; TurboTax Business will continue to be strictly a product that needs to be installed and run on a Windows PC.
