      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you are not actually working for the business then you really do not need to be on the payroll and being paid rent would make more sense.&amp;nbsp; Of course that would be reported on the Sch E and not be considered earned income thus things like retirement contributions would not be allowed and it could affect the tax return in other ways.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am surprised an income tax attorney would not be more help so I suggest you seek a CPA or EA&amp;nbsp; who knows corporate returns since you really need to take both the personal &amp;amp; business tax returns into consideration before you make a decision.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
