There are a number of places where you can report miles driven as an expense or deduction: Business expenses, Rental expenses, Work related expenses, Moving expenses, Medical expenses, Charitable contributions, at least. The credit given for each mile varies depending on where the miles driven are entered. It goes from about 17 cents per mile to about 55 cents per mile. In each case you enter the number of miles you drove for the purpose and TurboTax will figure out the amount.
