For MFJ where wife has Schedule C income, TurboTax Premier requires non-involved husband to make 3 entries on Sch K-1 (Fms 1065 & 1120S)? How do I clear those errors?

Despite indicating in interview that the wife owns the business and received a Form 1099-MISC, the Review says 3 entries must be made for the husband: Form 1065 Line B (Partnership Name), Form 1065 Line G (General or Limited Partner), and Form 1120S Line B (S Corp Name).

Not sure how any K-1 forms became involved, but if you sw...

Not sure how any K-1 forms became involved, but if you switch to Forms mode (View > Forms) you can delete those K-1s that are requiring entries.

Hello, all. I still need help. In Forms mode, there is no K-1, 1065 or 1120S listed. How can I remove the 3 "errors" and proceed to file? This is extremely frustrating, as you can imagine. If it makes any difference, the marriage occurred in 2017. The wife previously filed Single and used Schedule C for her self-employment income in 2016. Thanks in advance for any further suggestions.

Sure sounds like there are some empty K-1 forms in the return...in Forms mode, you don't see any red exclamation points in the list of forms that appears on the left side of the screen....may have to scroll down and expand the list to see all forms.

Thanks, Lisa, for following up. I still couldn't find the K-1 forms in the forms list, but was just able to solve my problems (I think). In Forms mode, I clicked on the Error (!) symbol at the top, which brought up one of the offending forms. I was then able to delete that form using the Delete button at the bottom. Repeated that to remove the next offending form. Then ran Review and was error-free. Saved the file, closed TurboTax, re-opened it, ran Review again and was still error-free. Think it is OK now. Thanks for your help in getting me headed in the right direction! So glad TurboTax has Forms mode. I still don't know what errors I may have made in data entry that caused TurboTax to generate a K-1 form, etc., but I'll worry about that next year. Thanks again.
