The Depreciation can't be more than the Cost of the Vehicle.

If you claimed Standard Mileage expense for your vehicle, depreciation was built into the deduction.

If so, when you report that you 'stopped using it for business' leave the Prior Depreciation and AMT Depreciation entries blank and enter a 'Depreciation Equivalent' amount instead (screenshots).

I am also stuck on this same error. In my case, we did not use the standard mileage deduction but used actual expenses. Line 44 Sales Price states 30,000 and lines 51 and 52 state 38,077. So I assume I need to change these two lines to $30,000 but I am not sure where I do that. It will not allow me to fix it in that window.

I have determined what I entered incorrectly on mine. So my error is resolved.
