TurboTax Business 2025 Schedule L

Turbotax Business is not adding assets added in 2025 on Schedule L, Line 9a, column (c). Any suggestions?

I'm not sure why that is happening, but you can enter the number directly on the form. Just use the "Forms" menu option to retrieve Form 1065 Pg5-6, scroll down to Schedule L, then go to line 9(a) and enter the cost of your assets.

Thanks, Is this a known bug that is being fixed? If not, it should be. It is the only field in the table that is not automatically populated.

It would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2025" file that is experiencing this issue for further investigation. You can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions:

Open your return and go to Online in the top menu, then choose "Send Tax File to Agent."
You will see a message explaining what the diagnostic copy is.  Click okay through this screen and then you will get a Token number.
Reply to this thread with a screenshot of your Token number (this avoids Community filters for numbers with a dash) and tag (@) the Expert requesting the token from you.
Please include any States that are part of your return - this is VERY important.

We will attempt to determine the cause of your experience and possibly provide you with a resolution.

Attached is the token as requested. No states have been downloaded yet, but Oregon will be used once the Federal return is complete.

The diagnostic tax file you provided shows depreciable assets for both years on Schedule L. We're unable to test the automatic transfer of assets due to the manual entries made to the provided return.

However, your Balance Sheet is out of balance by $50 and doesn't tie to the Partners' Liabilities Smart Worksheet. There is a $25 difference is between Line 17 and Line B (Ending). You'll need to determine how to resolve this difference.
