TurboTax Online Self-Employed VS Premium

I have sort of complicated investments and now I just started a single member LLC that has earned no money and minimal expenses for a website service (no products).

* I don't see anywhere comparing TurboTax Online Self-Employed to Premium.

* Anyone know which version I should use? My default from last year was Premium online.

* If I need TurboTax Online Self-Employed where do I find this product? Do I have to buy desktop version since I cannot find online?

Here's details that may be confusing:

* https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/ - confusing because I want to do myself. Then I click Need to file for an S-corp, Partnership, LLC, or Sole proprietorship? and they say $169 great but compare please oh please compare Turbotax I beg you...so confusing. Just want to use the right version not worried about cost so much.

* BTW, the tag in this post says Turbotax premiere but I have premium online. There was no option for Premium and to post here I have to choose something.

I asked AI again using a better prompt. AI says the "TurboTax Self-Employed Online Edition" is now simply referred to as TurboTax Premium Online"

So for anyone looking for the same answer as myself there's your answer!

They have combined Online Premier and the Self Employed version into the new Online Premium. Notice the similar names Premier and Premium.

If you buy the Desktop installed program there is still Premier and the Home & Business programs. All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.

Oh I forgot to ask you about your Single Member LLC . Did you set it up as a S Corp? If it is an S Corp you can’t do it in your personal return. You would need to buy the separate stand alone Business program, not to be confused with the Home & Business version.

Business is not available to do online or on a Mac. And it will not do your personal 1040 return. You can have both Turbo Tax Business and a personal version (like Home & Business) installed at the same time.
