Turbotax Business QEF online 2024 preparing a 1096 for every 1099-NEC in one company but no total for all

turbotax business qef 2024 preparing a 1096 for every 1099-nec

All 1099-nec are in one company but TT is preparing a new 1096 for each payee, one right after the other. There is no total.

It did this earlier in the week but was cleared when I logged out then back in. I have had to update an address for one payee, now all the 1099-nec have a 1096 for each and there is no total. Logging out, waiting and clearing cache failed to correct the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have been using TT QEF for years. I am not new to TT.

Yes, I watched the video. It is not at thew end of the pdf. I wouldn't have posted the question if the 1096 had been totaled anywhere.

UPDATE: 30 hours later the 1099-NECs updated allowing the program to print with a total.

I did nothing except log out and wait. I did test it by logging in every few hours. It is now February 2, 2025.

TT is having technical problems.

Same [removed] different Year. It's doing the same thing for 2025. Intuit products support stinks, live reps aren't any help either, if you can get one.

I'm having the same issue, this seems like too basic of an issue to have be allowed to creep into their software.

I ended up logging out and then immediately logging back in, the problem disappeared and I now had one 1096 for all of the payees.
