      <description>&lt;P&gt;This is actually correct.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is an IRS rule that all contributions made by your employer and by you (or her) through a payroll deduction program are called "employer contributions". This is because they are treated the same way (both amounts are removed from Wages in boxes, 1, 3, and 5 on the W-2).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only contributions that would appear on line 2 would be those contributions that your spouse contributed directly to the HSA outside of her employer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
